연합뉴스는 3월 13일 글로벌 여행PR사이트 투어닷컴의 조사를 인용해 "2011년부터 작년까지 전세계 1만5천320명을 대상으로 국가 친절도를 조사한 결과 한국은 67점으로 일본 72점과 중국 69점보다 낮았다"고 보도했다.
한국은 비교적 양호한 67점으로 21위에 올랐으나, 12위의 일본과 15위의 중국보다는 순위가 낮았다.
