2016년 그래미상 후보가 발표됐다(전체 리스트)

지난 12월 7일(현지시간) 제 58회 그래미상 후보가 발표됐다.

1959년 처음 시작된 그래미상은 전미국레코드예술과학아카데미(National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences)에서 주관하는 음악계 최고권위 상이다. TV계의 에미 어워즈, 무대공연계의 토니 어워즈, 영화계의 아카데미 어워즈와 비슷한 권위를 가진다고 평가받는 상이기도 하다. 집계기간은 2014년 10월 1일부터 2015년 9월 30일이다(역대급 기록의 아델이 후보에 오르지 않은 이유이기도 하다).

2015년의 주요 수상자로는 샘 스미스, 퍼렐 윌리엄스, 벡, 비욘세&제이지, 켄드릭 라마, 세인트 빈센트 등이 있다.

2016년 수상 후보 공개에서 화제가 된 건, 11개 부문 후보에 오른 래퍼 켄드릭 라마(28)다.

위키피디아에 따르면 켄드릭 라마의 11번 노미네이트는 그래미 역사상 2번째로 많은 횟수다. 1위는 1984년 마이클 잭슨의 12번 노미네이트다.

'베스트 랩 퍼포먼스', '베스트 랩 송', '베스트 뮤직 비디오', '올해의 노래' 후보에 오른 'Alright'

글로벌 통계 전문 업체 스태티스타(Statista)에 따르면 현재까지 그래미상에 가장 많이 노미네이트된 래퍼는 제이지(64회), 카니예 웨스트(53회), 에미넴(42회) 순이다. 제이지는 총 19개의 그래미상을 받았고, 카니예 웨스트는 총 21개의 그래미상을 받았다. 한편 켄드릭 라마는 2015년 앨범 'i'로 '베스트 랩 퍼포먼스', '베스트 랩 송' 두 개의 그래미상을 받았다.
