시스템 업데이트를 이용해 구형 아이폰 배터리 성능을 일부러 떨어뜨렸다고 인정한 애플 본사가 배터리 교체 비용을 29달러로 밝힌 데 이어 애플코리아도 배터리 교체 비용을 낮췄다.
앞서 본사는 인정 8일만인 28일 공식 사과하며, 현재 교체 비용 79달러를 오는 1월부터 12월까지 1년 동안 29달러로 변경한다고 발표한 바 있다.
연합뉴스에 따르면 아이폰6 이상 사용자는 현재 교체 비용인 10만원에서 6만6천원이 인하된 3만4천원에 배터리를 교체할 수 있게 된다.
