아델이 콘서트 도중 힐러리 클린턴에 대한 지지의 뜻을 밝혔다

미국 대선이 2주 앞으로 다가왔지만, 민주당 후보인 힐러리 클린턴에 대한 지지 선언은 지금도 계속되고 있다. 이번 주인공은 아델이었다.

지난 25일 밤 마이애미에서 열린 콘서트에서, 아델은 노래를 부르던 중간에 클린턴에 대한 지지의 뜻을 밝혔다.

클린턴 캠페인의 보좌관에 따르면 이날 아델은 관객들을 향해 "저는 영국인이지만, 미국에서 일어나는 일들은 저에게도 영향을 줍니다"라고 말했다. 또 아델은 "그에게 투표하지 마세요. 저는 투표할 수 없지만, 저는 완전히 힐러리 클린턴을 지지합니다. 저는 그녀를 사랑해요. 그녀는 엄청나죠"라고 말했다.

NBC의 아담 쿠퍼스테인은 아델이 팬들에게 이렇게 말하는 순간을 영상으로 잡았고, 자신의 트위터를 통해 공개했다.

아델이 관객 중에 클린턴이 있었다는 걸 알고 있었는지는 확실하지 않다. 그러나 아델은 힐러리 클린턴이 자신의 팬이라는 사실은 알고 있다. 클린턴은 지난 3월 시리우스XM과의 인터뷰에서 "나는 아델의 엄청난 팬"이라고 말한 바 있다.
