It's not only Seoul that's building towards the sky. North Korea's PyongYang seems to have caught the fever also.
Yonhaps News was in PyongYang from Aug. 16 to 25 to cover the Second Annual International Youth (15 and under) Soccer Competition. They took a lot of footage, observing that "the heart of PyongYang is transforming into a very three-dimensional place."
PyongYang's transformation is hard to deny when one sees all these skyscrapers going up along the DaeDong River ranging up to 50-stories high. With the recent thawing of relationships, here's hoping that a tour of the city might be possible for South Koreans in the near future.
