플 아이폰 10주년을 기념하는 '아이폰X'이 3일 미국과 영국, 일본, 중국 등 50여개 1차 출시국에서 판매를 개시했다.

아이폰X은 상하좌우 베젤이 거의 사라진 스크린, OLED 디스플레이 등을 탑재하며 역대 아이폰 중 가장 큰 폭의 변화를 선보였다. 특히 비약적으로 향상된 프로세서 성능도 전문가들 사이에서 주목을 받았다.

홈 버튼도, 터치ID도 사라졌다. 대신 안면인식 보안기술인 '페이스ID'가 도입됐다. 아이폰 사상 처음으로 무선 충전도 지원한다.

이날 한국에서는 각 통신사별 아이폰8 출시 기념 행사가 조촐하게 열렸다. 아이폰X의 한국 출시 일정은 아직 확정되지 않았으며, 가격은 142만원~163만원이다.
